They first met in middle school, but their connection truly blossomed in Grade 10 English. On the first day, she chose to sit beside a familiar face, unaware that a shared desk would spark the beginning of a lifelong journey together. Two years later, that friendship evolved into something more.

In the 12 years since, they’ve found a balance between big adventures and the quiet moments in between. You can usually find them in the crowd at a music festival or dancing the night away, but they’re just as happy at home, cooking dinner, watching dating shows, and reading together. They’ve realized that whether they’re halfway across the world or hanging out on a random Tuesday, things are simply better when they’re together.

After a romantic proposal on the beaches of Mykonos, Greece, they now look forward to celebrating their wedding with the people they love most in Cancun, Mexico. It’s the very city they visited three years ago to see (and meet!) their favourite DJ, Kaskade.
